Great Time at Toledo Zoo Lights
Jeff suggested we check out the Christmas lights at Toledo Zoo, and it was a GREAT IDEA!
The outing was fantastic, and everyone who went really enjoyed it. The zoo is amazing, with well-designed exhibits that are close together so you don't have to walk a lot. The Aquarium was especially impressive. Jeff, who's really into fish, made sure we visited it. Although many animals were hidden during our visit, we still saw some.
But the highlight was the Christmas lights. The Toledo Zoo got second place in the USA Today 2023 contest for best zoo lights, and it's easy to see why. We went on a Tuesday with a small group: Jeff, Christina, Devin, Stacey, Erica, and Jimmy. Some others couldn't make it because they were sick. It was a nice change to have a smaller gathering.
