Maverick Playing Cards Review
These are a more durable version of Bicycle playing cards. They have a protective coating that helps prevent them from absorbing moisture from the table, which is especially important since we often play in bars where there’s usually food, drinks, and plenty of spills.
Because of the coating, the cards feel a bit slicker and slide more easily. They don’t have quite the same classic feel as standard Bicycle cards, but they’re excellent for this kind of environment and hold up much better over time.
One drawback is that we haven’t been able to easily find Pinochle decks in this particular style.
