A lot of people think Euchre is just for older folks—but the younger generation plays too! We have young people at all our events. The challenge is, I’m 56, and when I start a new location, I naturally lean on friends around my own age. That usually means the crowd skews over 50. 

Berkley is different. There, we’ve built a great mix—often about half the players are under 50. This week, more than half were under 50, and we even had teenagers! That happened because Berkley started with my son Evan, who worked there, so it drew not only my friends but his friends too. 

We want all our Euchre nights to have that kind of balance. If you’re younger, Berkley is a great spot to meet people your age—but we’d love to see you at other locations too. At first, you might not see many people your age, but if you keep coming back (and bring a friend), others will follow. That’s how these groups grow! 

This applies to everyone: if you show up and don’t see “your crowd,” keep showing up. You might be the seed the whole group grows around—especially at smaller locations. It works! 

And please RSVP early. I pay close attention to the guest list so I can put extra effort into connecting people who might click. Every single person makes a difference.
