Annual Euchre Party - THANK YOU!
Erica and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out for our Annual Euchre Party! We've been hosting this party for 22 years now, and it remains the highlight of our year. We absolutely love opening our home to entertain and seeing everyone have a great time! While we often see each other at our weekly Euchre games and other activities, there’s something uniquely special about a house party. It’s a great opportunity for those who can't make it out regularly to join in and for people from different locations to connect. We hope everyone had a chance to meet new faces and build lasting friendships.
Interestingly, a long-term study highlighted the significant role relationships play in our overall well-being. As Robert Waldinger, director of the 80-year Harvard study, put it, "Our relationships and how happy we are in them have a powerful influence on our health." The study revealed that strong relationships, more than wealth or status, are key to living long and happy lives, helping to protect against the challenges of life and slowing down mental and physical decline. We truly appreciate everyone who participates in our activities, and it’s wonderful to witness the friendships that have blossomed. In times like these, a little joy goes a long way, and great friendships certainly help!
