Playing Card Deck Reviews
When you start hosting playing card events, like Euchre, you'll quickly realize you go through a lot of cards, which translates to spending a lot of money! Additionally, you'll notice that some cards "feel" nicer than others. The differences in size and texture can be surprisingly significant. Interestingly, the most expensive cards aren't always the best choice. To help you out, we're going to review some of the cards we use.
Our Euchre nights typically involve around seven rounds of play. To make things more challenging, we often play in bars and restaurants where people eat before or even during the games. Consequently, the cards absorb grease and other residues from the food. On top of that, people often have drinks without coasters, and the cards frequently end up on wet surfaces. The cards that "feel" the best are often the ones that absorb the most grime.
Euchre is our primary card game, and one special consideration is the Euchre deck. Euchre is played with cards from Ace to Nine, meaning about half of the standard card deck is unused. A quick way to save money for Euchre events is to buy Pinochle decks, which contain two Euchre decks. This way, you can save money and avoid wasting cards.
In these reviews, we consider this environment to provide you with the best recommendations for your card parties. We hope this helps in planning your events!
