Enjoy a fun filled night at the Huntington Woods Library Euchre Tournament Co-Sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Huntington Woods Mens Club. All proceeds benefit The Friends of the Library to support library programming. We are partnering with Darby Connections to help run the Tournament. They host weekly Euchre tournaments around Southeast Michigan and have developed a smooth system for running Euchre Tournaments.
This is Individuals Euchre Tournament with 50% of entry fees going towards prizes! Light snacks will be provided and you are welcome to BYOB. The event will be held in the HW Library basement gallery. Space is limited, so register quickly! If you cannot make the tournament, please consider making a donation to the HWMC

Euchre Registration and Fees:
- Register at HWMC.org or DarbyConnections.com (Credit Card, Venmo and PayPal Accepted)
- $20 Euchre Entry Fee
- Must be over 18 years old.
Euchre Prizes:
- 50% of Entry Fees
Game Rules & Format:
- Official Rules: See the Darby Connections House Euchre Rules.
- Timing: Games start at 7:00 pm. No rounds start after 9:30 pm. There is not a set number of rounds. Only your Top Five Scores count.
- Scoring: Everyone deals twice each game. Can have more than 10 points. Four points for Euchres and Reneges on Loners. See the Official Rules for other points. It clarifies some common misconceptions.
- Winning: Your score is the sum of your top five games. Tie-breakers favor the player with the highest hand. Must be present to win.
- Gameplay: You do NOT keep the same partner throughout the tournament. Each player deals twice. Screw the Dealer. Whoever grabs the cards first deals.
- Additional Rules:
- No table talk regarding the current hand. Talk your heads off about everything else. THIS IS A SOCIAL EVENT!
- Keep games brisk.
- Be NICE! Have fun!
Important Notes:
- Text Messages are used for Check In, Seat Assignments and reporting Scores.
- Register with a SMS capable phone and bring it to the tournament.
- The Event Scores Page on DarbyConnections.com will have scores and table assignments.
