Enjoy a fun filled night at the Huron Valley Promise Euchre Tournament to raise funds for improving the future of all Huron Valley Students! We are partnering with Darby Connections to help run the Tournament. They host weekly Euchre tournaments around Southeast Michigan and have developed a smooth system for running Euchre Tournaments. We are seeking additional partners to help with marketing and sponsor prizes.
An Individuals Euchre Tournament is the Featured Event! In addition, there will be a 50/50 Raffle, Silent Auction, Promise Trivia Game, Heads & Tails Game and FUN! Funds raised provide grants to start savings accounts for post-secondary education for Huron Valley Schools’ kindergarten families (children aged 6 or under). Your Euchre Ticket will include dinner and entry to the tournament. There will be a cash bar available. If you cannot make the tournament, please consider making a donation at HuronValleyPromise.org

Euchre Registration and Fees:
- Register at HVPEuchre.com or DarbyConnections.com (Credit Card, Venmo and PayPal Accepted)
- $35 Euchre Entry Fee (Includes Dinner)
- $1.00 Per Euchre to Violating Team
- Must be over 18 years old.
Euchre Prizes:
- 1st place = $200
- 2nd place =$100
- 3rd place = $50
Game Rules & Format:
- Official Rules: See the Darby Connections House Euchre Rules.
- Timing: Games start at 7:00 pm. No rounds start after 9:30 pm. There is not a set number of rounds. Only your Top Five Scores count.
- Scoring: Everyone deals twice each game. Can have more then 10 points. Four points for Euchres and Reneges on Loners. See the Official Rules for other points. It clarifies some common misconceptions.
- Winning: Your score is the sum of your top five games. Tie-breakers favor the player with the highest hand. Must be present to win.
- Gameplay: You do NOT keep the same partner throughout the tournament. Each player deals twice. Screw the Dealer. Whoever grabs the cards first deals.
- Additional Rules:
- No table talk regarding the current hand. Talk your heads off about everything else. THIS IS A SOCIAL EVENT!
- Keep games brisk.
- Be NICE! Have fun!
Important Notes:
- Text Messages are used for Check In, Seat Assignments and reporting Scores.
- Register with a SMS capable phone and bring it to the tournament.
- The Scores Page at HVPEuchre.com will have scores and table assignments.
